FAQ

Questions, answered.

How is Papolang different from Duolingo or Pimsleur?

Papolang is built around listening and speaking from the very beginning. Unlike most language apps, you can learn directly from your own language — without using English as a bridge. Lessons focus on real conversations, audio comprehension, and repetition rather than reading and tapping exercises.

Which languages can I learn?

Papolang supports many of the world’s most widely spoken languages, with new languages added regularly. You can learn directly between supported languages — for example Japanese from Portuguese, French from Arabic, or German from Italian.

Do I need to read or look at the screen?

No. Papolang is designed to work primarily through audio, so you can learn while walking, commuting, cooking, or exercising. The screen is optional.

How long is a lesson?

Most lessons take around 20 minutes. A short daily practice is enough to start building real conversational skills over time.

Is there a free version?

Yes. You can start learning for free and explore the first lessons of every language. Premium unlocks the full course library.
