Papolang is an audio-first language learning service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our website, web app, mobile app, and related services.

We may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, account details, language preferences, waitlist submissions, support messages, and billing-related information.

We may also collect technical information automatically, such as device type, browser type, IP address, app version, pages viewed, features used, and basic diagnostic data.

We use information to:

• Provide, personalize, and improve Papolang.
• Create and manage accounts.
• Remember language choices and learning progress.
• Process subscriptions and payments.
• Send product updates, support replies, and service notices.
• Protect the service from abuse, fraud, and technical issues.

Payments may be handled by third-party payment providers or app stores. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Payment providers may process billing information according to their own privacy policies.

We may use cookies or similar technologies to keep the service working, remember preferences, understand usage, and improve the product. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without them.

Papolang shows optional rewarded video ads: you may choose to watch one to earn Papo-Credits. Ads are never shown unless you ask for one, and you can use the whole service without watching any.

These ads are served by Google AdMob. When you watch one, Google receives technical information such as your device's advertising identifier, device and operating system details, approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you interacted with the ad. Google uses this to serve and measure ads, and — where you have consented — to personalise them. We do not receive or store this advertising profile ourselves; we receive only a confirmation that an ad was watched so we can add your credits.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, we ask for your consent through a Google-certified consent message before any ad is requested, and you can change that choice at any time from the app. On iOS, Apple additionally asks whether you allow tracking; declining does not reduce your reward. You can also reset or disable your advertising identifier in your device settings.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate Papolang, such as hosting, analytics, authentication, payments, customer support, and email delivery providers.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or business transfer.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request account deletion by contacting us.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the use of your personal information. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

Papolang is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Papolang may be operated from and supported by providers in different countries. By using the service, you understand that your information may be processed in countries other than where you live.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date above. Significant changes may also be communicated through the service or by email.
